Outpatient Therapy At A Glance

  • Individual Therapy:

Individuals are provided a safe space to process and understand their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behavioral patterns one-on-one with a therapist. A treatment plan is developed for each individual client based on their own specific needs and goals.

    Group Therapy:

Group therapy is a beneficial form of treatment for many people and can be used in tandem with individual therapy. A mental health professional works with a group of clients at the same time for about 1-2 hours per week. During group sessions a therapist might target a specific topic or focus on different learning skills for healthy coping.

Connecting with other individuals and hearing various perspectives allows for a powerful environment of healing and comfort to form.

  • Couples Therapy:

Relationships are not easy and sometimes it takes professional guidance and support to establish or re-establish a solid foundation. In a safe, unbiased space couples can work through their challenges focusing on developing a healthy relationship. Parenting styles, separation, grief, stress, financial struggles, and past traumas are just a few of the issues couples may experience.

    Family Therapy:

Families can seek support and guidance from a therapist for many different reasons. Divorce, financial hardships, loss of a loved one, parenting issues and more. Throughout the therapeutic process family members can work on a variety of areas such as:

    • Building trust
    • Developing and maintaining healthy boundaries
    • Improving communication and openness
    • Understanding family dynamics and the needs of each individual
    • Reducing conflict
