Unity House At A Glance

  • Unity House is a 9-bed residential treatment facility licensed to treat adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Community-based, medically monitored programming is used to prevent individuals from being hospitalized and/or help transition individuals back into the community after being hospitalized.

Our outpatient programs work in conjunction with Unity House to provide therapy, psychiatry, and the continuity of care residents need.

  • Each day, medically necessary rehabilitation services are provided to each resident using individual treatment plan (ITP) interventions. The ITPs are developed in coordination with the resident through active involvement in service planning and recovery processes.

Our agency also recognizes the importance of including family and social supports as part of the resident's recovery process. Group treatment is provided to each resident as needed and/or as identified in the resident's ITP.

    Groups include:

    • Anger management
    • Cooking/nutrition
    • Crisis prevention planning
    • General skills
    • IMR
    • Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment
    • Healthy living
    • Medication education
  • Admission is based on the written opinion of a licensed mental health professional. The referred resident may have a need for mental health services that cannot be met with other available community-based services, is likely to experience a mental health crisis, or requires a more restrictive setting. Unity House can receive referral information from any professional source, at any time.
